Nova Samui Resort, Chaweng (Koh Samui)

I've been visiting Nova Samui for over 20 years and my stays have generally been enjoyable. The upgrade to a room closer to reception was a nice surprise. However, I noticed that the rooms could really use a makeover as they seemed a bit tired, and I encountered some issues with outdoor furniture and bathroom fixtures. The breakfast options were limited but I appreciated the Asian dishes offered. The hotel's location is a 10-minute walk to town and the beach, but crossing the busy road can be tricky.

I appreciated my stay at Nova Samui, especially the friendly interactions with the staff and the lovely pool area. However, the rooms are in need of some serious TLC, as they felt tired and not very clean during my visit. The location is decent, but the dining options could definitely use some improvement as well.
